Good morning ladies!!!!

Ms. Gillian... I love you girl!! You're always right there to cheer me up!! You're right... I AM determined and I will make it!!!!

Ms. Joy, don't you just hate sodium!! It's EVIL I tell ya!! I haven't touched a salt shaker other than to pass it to handsome hubby since July but it hides... evil, just evil!

Ms. Diana, it's good to know someone else can't resist stepping on the evil box in the evening... It's starting to cooperate now. Thanks for the kinds words!!

Hi Kris! So nice to see you around!! Yes, hubby and I did have a nice time. I guess it's just the price we have to pay...

Cmom, take care of that knee. Listen to your body, if it's still hurting... don't stress it out more. Knee injuries are the worst!!

Ms. Shelia, we drove. Flying is much worse on my water retention!! I'm not sure why either... I guess it's the change in pressure and/or altitude? I used to think it was just because I was overweight... but then I heard Kelly Ripa talking about how she swells up like a balloon when she flys and she's anything but overweight!! So maybe it just affects people differently. As for the hanging reverse crunch things... I don't know what that piece of equiment is called. But what you do is hang feet down with your forearms holding you up and grasp these handles. Then you press your back and hips into the back of the machine and lift your knees up. I'll have to find a picture because I know I'm not explaining it correctly!

Ms. C.C., oh I don't envy you with those cravings for sweets! I'm the opposite as I crave salty things. Maybe that's the root of my sodium issues.

Hi Emmy! Thank you for the encouraging words!! Those blasted pounds will move... they're going to have no choice! I'm pulling out the like Ms. Gillian... just watch those pesky things go POOF!!

Well geez! It would help if I posted my update too...

Today was weigh in day... needless to say, I was petrified! Sunday night I was up 8 pounds... Monday morning I was still up 6 pounds... so this morning was bound to be no good! But really it wasn't too bad... 202.2. Which makes a net gain for the week of .8 pounds! This makes me VERY happy!

I know it was evil sodium! I have done nothing but pee for the last 36 hours! (sorry for the TMI!) Now someone explain how our bodies know that "okay, we're home!! Time to shed that fluid and get back to normal"???? No matter, I'm just thrilled that it does!!

So it looks like one more week in the 200's... No worries... it's just another week to prepare for the celebration!!!!

I hope you all have a great day!!!

Yes, you have one more week in the 200's but that's only to give your brain a chance to save some lasting memories before never seeing that number again!

Your attitude is SOOO good! and 6.6lbs in 2 weeks is pretty fantastic!

P.S the gym I use has one of those nasty torture devices - nearly kills me!

Ah yes . . . my gym has one too. It is amazing how much weight gain is related simply to retaining water!

You guys are a hoot!!! :-) I used to go to the gym all the time when I was younger and then, over here, it became like a business and so expensive...

They get into the shopping malls and it is like being in Bali, they follow you around pressurizing you to join their gym "and this week only (don't you just love all the sales talk??) it will only be $500 for the year instead of $750!" And I get a free plastic drink bottle!!!

I have found that I can get the same results walking a loop around here. I have found the perfect walk!!!!!! I firstly get momentum going, then the hill hits!!! Oh man, that hill kills, it keeps me puffing for 10 minutes or so, then it peaks and I keep walking fast to keep the heart going and then it starts to come back down the hill gradually, and eventually back around to where our house it. I have several short cuts but I never take them. I have found my fitness go through the roof doing that walk every day, and if I am not up to it time wise, even three times a week is great. Takes about half an hour. I guess we are just lucky to have the nice walking and the hill!!! OMG the hill... But the birds and the fresh air make up for it!

Then when I get home... I have ten minutes of stretching that I do and I feel fantastic... and the best part is... it costs me $0!!!

Then again I am completely self motivated..... sheesh I must sound like a but really I am more like a who wants to stay alive for longer to haunt you all!!!!!!
Wooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
You didn't think you would get rid of me that easily did you???
hehehe
