Oh...don't forget Texas. It's no bowl of cherries over here either.

It get's bone-melting hot in the Summer and the Summer lasts from May to October.

Those times are so odd to us! Our hot, sticky summer is Dec/Jan/Feb and our coolest months are Jun/Jul/Aug. What is in between those months is lovely. Lots of weddings... not too hot and not too cold! We are the exact opposite of the UK!

Yeah here, if you're getting married in June, July or August...you must either be prego or not from Texas!

Well florida is deffinitely very high up on the list for hot and humid places to live. We hardly even get a winter.

Two of my children were born in August the hottest month of the year. That sucks being preggo your last trimester during the summer months here.

How is your night going gillian ? I've been in a awesome mood for three days now !!!!
I hate being down in the dumps, that's for the birds.

Yeah, the OBX isn't a fun place to be in the summer months either. The winds blows a gale all winter/spring but just as soon as it's 90 and above it's as calm as ever... perfect for the humidity to set in for what feels like... forever!!
