Hi yall!
Im Tosha. Im from TX. I have been lurking around here for a couple of months with all intentions of going to the dr. and getting on phentermine, but there was always something else I needed the 120.00 for (xmas, kids b-day, etc) so finally after my wonderful boyfriend telling me to "just go" and dont worry about the money. I went on friday and started phen on saturday. I am currently at 200lbs the most I have ever weighed in my life. I have never ever actually told anybody that before, seems weird actually posting it. But I have got to do something about my health. I was on phen about a year and a half ago and dropped from 187 to 155 and was really happy with myself, but then I went thru a really bad divorce and custody battle, moved to houston, met my boyfriend and somehow all my eating habits got thrown out the window. I was so dissappointed in myself and really really started to get depressed about it. I have great willpower once I set my mind to it, but at the time other things were more important. so here I go again, hopefully with much success this time as well. I feel good- Im not sure about going once a week for the b-12 shot. I dont really know if it actually helps or not, I didnt do it last time- and I really dont feel like spending the money or gas to drive over there. I would love some input on that from you guys. I work in an office and before I moved to Houston I was a photographer and ran my own business, Im hoping to eventually build my clientele up and get back into that again, its definately my dream job.
I havent really started excercising yet, I have 4 girls two of them under 5 so chasing them has been of some help. But me and my bf are going walking today and im also going to start an ab workout. Im looking forward to getting some good advice on here and being part of the forum. Im still trying to figure out what the best diet plan for me is- my dr recommends low carb- but Im skeptical.

right now i am 200- my goal is 145. My birthday is 3/22 and im hoping to be down a size by then at least. well see


heres what I ate this morning so far.

string cheese and fat free turkey-breakfast
10oz water

its still early here so ill add as the day goes on-
mid morning
20oz water-

Welcome Tosh I am pretty new to the boards too! I also live in Houston. Good luck with the Phen I am having a slow start, up and down for a month with 3 lbs. I hope you have better luck!

Welcome, Tosha! I used to visit my sister in Midland/Odessa. It was SO hot last time I felt like she and I were baking for someone's supper! YIKES! But I Still Love Texas! We lived in San Antonio at one time~

So you once lost been then regained? NOT GONNA happen this trip around. THIS time, you will re-learn some good habits and un-learn the bad habits.

You start exercising TODAY..even if it is 20 bottom squeezes. If you have 1-2 minutes, you can get started. It's funny, but it really is the CONSISTENCY that is important, rather than the amount of time. So write it down right next to your intake for the day. Should look something like this, except you will have to add more for the rest of the day and measure portions and calories!

Mon/phen-6 am w/10 oz water, exercised 2 min

7am-string cheese and fat free turkey-breakfast
10oz water

10 am- huge salad w/ veges and 1/4 cup almonds and 10 oz water

12:30- 2 lettuce wraps w/ chicken and 10 ounces water

3:00- 10 oz water and can water packed tuna with fat free mayo (1 TBL)

5:30-

7:30-

8- do 1-2 minutes squeezes!
Count your calories; eat some protein every time you eat and drink water,water,water!
mid morning
20oz water
