Hi to everyone! My name is Angee. I live in Staunton, Virginia (home of the Statler Brothers whoo hooo!) I am a stay at home mom of two who babysits in my home(this allows me to stay home with my son and get my daughter off the bus) Anyway, I started phentermine last Thursday and have lost 3 pounds so far. Have not been able to make the time to exercise on a daliy basis yet but plan to start this weekend. I am more motivated today to eat healthy and exercise after getting bloodwork results from my doctor's appointment last week. Wow! was expecting to be told I was diabetic because the doctor was thinking that was the problem but he was wrong!! I have a high triglyceride level!! From research I've done that means I must must must loose weight and keep it off to avoid heart disease and diabtes. This was a real big frightening shock. Mainly because my grandmother passed away in December from complications from open heart surgery. I don't want my kids to go through what my mother just did with my grandmother. That is motivation I hope will keep me eating right and get me moving but support from other is a key as well. My husband is not the best at cheerleading or even encouraging me but what man would be!!! This weekend will be a challenge as my husband will be off fishing and I'll be at home with the kids. I usually don't do as well when I don't have to cook dinner. My daughter is very picky about what she eats so I don't cook for her and my son he just eats anyting and everything! SO I need prayers for a healthy weekend!

Angee,

You can do it! But you will definitely be in my thoughts this weekend. This will be my first weekend, so I am a little nervous and hope it is just as easy as being at work during the week. Keep us posted about how the weekend went.

Great going on the 3 lbs so far !!!!!!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you this weekend
to make healthy choices.

The important thing is your taking the steps in
preventing what could happen in the future.

I commend you on that.

Woo-Hooo! I survived another weekend. And got in an all day workout on Saturday thanks to the nice sunny weather....and tons and tons of yardwork. Spent the whole day raking and bagging leaves.... loading the trailer with limbs and other debris....and weeding flower beds. boy was I sore yesterday. The payoff was good however.....down to 173.2.....that makes a total of almost 6 pounds!! Slow and steady will win the race!!
