Hey all! Well i am new to phen, and well decided to write a jouranl. My first phen date was 4/9/08 and my start weight was 180lbs. Today 5/4/08 i am at 167.8lbs...excited because i see a little diff. I am now drinking a gallon of water a day or more. i am also taking a water pill with it. I eat salads, poultry, veggies, and weight watcher dinners. I have to say i have browsed through the website and happy to see all the support offered. From the past month, i have to say my only concern is that my apetite is completely supressed. I look at food and i find it disgusting. I do eat,, i do not neglect myself at all. but i have come to see that i make myself eat because the pill makes me nausea's. I no longer have desire for sweets, soda, carbs or anything like that. is that a concern? I mean when i feel nausea's i do not have the desire to eat but i do anyhow. i mean i dont know im confused, i dont know if because my appetite has supressed or the constant feeling of nauseasness. i eat breakfast, lunch dinner, and fruits and veggies on the side, of course small portions. so i dont know if im eating to little or to much. i am on 30mg of phen. Well i do have to say im so happy that this website exsists because it is a big support, and indeed we are all taking a walk to weight loss.

Welcome to Phenforum! I am so proud of you for eating so many of the RIGHT foods, Kiddo!!
There are so many different diet types and our administrator, Ian, has listed several super ones in other threads on this forum...be sure to peck around and scratch some of them out and read them.
This is what I tried and was successful doing:

I'm sure others here will have words of wisdom to share, but the best thing I can tell you is to be encouraged by losing the weight slowly because the weight will stay off and that's far better than losing a few pounds just to have them come back plus more. I lost 40 lbs slowly, over the course of a year back in '96 and only in the last couple of years did it come back (because I wasn't making healthy choices).

I lose weight slowly, so I don't have suggestions for losing 7 lbs in three weeks, but that's just a bit over 2 lbs a week, which is very do-able for some people. I'd say drink lots of water, work out extra, and keep eating healthily.

Sorry I don't have any other suggestions than the standard stuff.

Sounds like you're doing great, though! Wish I could say I've lost the weight you have, so don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just keep at it and you'll see results, just like you already have!

Hi there and welcome aboard!!

My advice would be to make sure you are eating enough. I know Phen makes it difficult but eating too little can slow your loss as well. I use Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople to track calories but there are others out there. Try to stay with at least 1,200 a day. Spread them out over 6 small meals.

Other than that, I see you are drinking your water. Are you exercising? Walking is good... (you may have said and I forgot).

I look forward to following your progress!!
