Hey girls, quick update!! I am kindah bummed , I don't have a job yet, those other people have never called back!! I need one really bad we are in the hole big time !! :'( Anyways, I am trying to keep myself busy . On the bright side my husband bought me my anniversery gift, it's in a big box, and I have no idea what it is. I made him put it back in his trunk so I wasn't tempted to peek at it! Im dissappointed because I have no idea what to get him. He wants to just order sum stupid lowering springs for his car, but in the meantime. I would like to get him something small for a surprise at least. Bummer about Hurricane Ike, I wanted to spend our anniversery on the beach, lol. But um it's destroyed. Soooo again makes me hate it even more here, I wish I was back home in Washington. But I'm doing good losing my weight again. I hope I win the bet my husband made with me to loose weight by january 1st lol. I'm trying my best. Well I am going to go for now. Take care Girls!

Hi jessica,

Great going on those two lbs. I never heard of a singing interview ? Aren't you trying to get a teller job ? Oh, I get it they want to hire a singing teller.j/k

Sorry they have not called yet. I'd leave all my options open and keep plugging away at other places anyways.

Happy Early Anniversary. I hope your DH got you something nice. Goodluck with that contest with your Dh,you can do if you put your mind to it,girl.

Maybe you can postpone the beach trip for your Anniversary just for a while but still do it. It's a shame how things turned out. My Anniversary was destroyed last year. I hope this year's will be better myself.

Have a great weekend.

Ohhhh go to home depot and get bags of sand and make a beach in your back yard... have a lil picnic and then in the picnic basket put the springs he wanted in it. That way you get the romantic beach scene and he gets his manly springs.

Or you can fly over to Cali. Its hot out here and are beaches are up and running

Oh and doooon't feel bad about the job thing. I am in the same position as you. I have a shitty job I have been sending out resumes like no ones business and no one is hireing. I finally gave up (not really) but decided to go back to school.

Girls, girls, girls! lol I am finally back! After the hurricane the internet was acting wacky, then it stopped working totally! But now it is better, the comcast technician just left... He swapped my old one out for a new modem, things run so much faster now too! Yay! He said they don't even use the modem I had anymore. They didn't last long enough. Anyways girls, our 1 year anniversery was nice, that was yesterday. October 6th! Yay! He took me to this "upscale" American Grille Dining,a place called Cullen's. It was very nice and I enjoyed myself. I ordered a ceaser salad and the halibut. It was delicious but i didn't care for what came with it. Some israeli cous cous. Did not care for it, so was a little dissappointed with my choice of meal but other then that. The bathroom was very nice also. Fancy. lol Anyways after that we headed over to my sister in laws house where he was storing the presents! Guess what, he got me a wii! lol He got me the wii fit game so it can help me loose the rest of my weight! lol he wants me to win our little challenge, it was his idea to make the contest to motivate me. I don't know though my scale is crazy. I still am like so much heavier then a few weeks ago. It always weighs me in the same range. But on the wii it weighed me so much lighter! I tell you what! I HATE SCALES!!!!! uGH! anyways, my scale here weighs me at 240, and the wii weighs me at 217. So Im annoyed. But I figure I will keep trying to do really good and I will get weighed my correct weight @ my doctors visit!

For the last week I FINALLY got back into my routine. Instead of the tredmill I cleaned up and brought my elleptical into my dining room I guess lol from off the balcony. I am doing, 20-25 minutes for now. It is much harder than I remembered lol, way harder the a tredmill. For me it is. If I listen to headphones while on it, the time goes by much easier though. But I eat cereal for breakfast and for lunch usually, with small snacks inbetween. I cook dinner like I normally do. So hopefully I am officially back on the band wagon! All I need to do is work back up to my almost gallon water intake! Ugh, loosing weight is to much effort. Good thing I care what I look like . Ugh lol. Well take care girls till next time. I';m going to take a looksy at some of your journals now!

Jessica going crazy in Texas!

P.s. I didn't get that job or the last one I interviewed for, I'm still looking :( I need one very bad. But on the bright side trying to enjoy the time I'm not working I guess, but I so need the money. SOMEONE HIRE ME!

Lol!!! That would have been an interesting idea. I have nowhere to put the sand though. I live in a tiny condo lol. I hate it here, I want a house so bad. Anyways, enough of my boo hoo's! Yeah, it has been very hard finding a job. I need oneso bad, and if the employer only knew that they would love me. In my opinion I think I am a very good worker. When I like my employer and myjob I am an excellent worker. I will always try and do above and beyond as long as it's noticed ya know! Even if I hate my job I always do what is required and I don't get lazy. I guess I feel to guilty if I be lazy at a job, I mean you agreed to get paid to whatever, and they are paying you. That means your okay I suppose with what your getting paid. UGH I just wish someone would hire me , I don't want to go back to long hours or shall I say late hours doing retail. Please no! But anyways, thanks for visiting my journal and nice to meet you! Good luck on your job hunt also, and I would love to go to cali but I have no job so I have no money lol. Cali is beautiful though, I would much rather live there. *Sigh* Well bye!

Jessica

Congrats on your wii! Lucky duck!!
And congrats on making it 1 year! The first year of marriage is usually the hardest, so give yourself a big ole pat on the back cuz you sure deserve it!!
I saw that cous cous when I was in Israel back in May. I didn't try any though. I'm not big on trying new things, so it was SUPER TOUGH in Israel! I'm surprised i didn't lose weight in the 2 weeks that I was gone! LOL!
