Hello everyone, I see everyone in here almost has a journal so maybe I should start one too. My buddies have disappeared, or something. Well here is a little background, I have been on phentermine for 1 month now and lost ehh roughly 12 pounds, which is good. I suppose lol. But before I started phentermine I was doing my own thing, which seemed to be working out okay. I took phentermine for a boost. I used to weigh 275 pounds! Before that which was last year sometime I weighed 285 pounds. So now I weigh as you can see <<< 234.4 pounds which is a huge weight loss for me personally. Because I haven't weighed under 250 in a looooooooooooong time! So in the last 4 months, I have lost a total of 40 pounds, 12 from phentermine.

All together from my very beginning weight almost 50 pounds! So eh I guess it has been alot. lol I just don't notice because it has been a long process! This morning was my weigh -in as I weigh in weekly on Tuesday mornings. I lost 2 pounds last week. Hope to do the same this week or better! Wish me luck girls and I hope all of you for the same! So this is my first entry in my journal! Yay! Talk later!

Hi Jessica, whoa !!!! 50 lbs is great girl !!!!! Your doing super awesome so far. Great that you started your own journal. Keep it updated and you will meet some more friends. I know you visited my journal before and thanks.

That's another great way to meet ppl visiting other journals and introducing yourself. Alot times they will do the same.

Hi Jessica,

Way to go. What a great accomplishment losing so much weight on your own! I'm pretty new to this whole phen thing to, but it seems to really boost my energy level and help with appetite control! Anyway, good luck girl!

Aww ya'll are so nice!! Thank you, it's been really hard losing the weight. And it has taken a long time, given I would get frusterated and be bad for a whole month and gain like 10 lbs. back. lol But now im sticking with it, and I still weigh alot but haven't been this light (for me) in a long time... Thank you for your encouragement girls.

Well I made this journal this morning so I don't have much to update. Thanks for the comments!

Hello everyone!! Day 2 of my journal , ha! Im trying to find a new picture, that looks decent. May just have to take a new one. My avatar picture that I have now is like 3 years old lol. But it's the only nice picture I have of myself I guess. All the other ones look like im posing or something, I look dumb. Anyways, almost got half of my water intake in for today! Just studying right now about to clean my messy house. Well Hope all is well with everyone and thank you for you advice and encouragement ladies!!! This is an outstanding forum full of very encouraging people, I hope you guys keep losing and continue to do well and reach your goals! As I hope I do too :(, lol it's hard. Dear Lord girls!! Alright, I'm originally from Washington state, I moved to Houston, Texas because my husband is from here, my 1 year anniversery is in October... If any of you have been to Washington, Oregon, whereever, but somewhere up there, you should know it doesn't get that hott nor humid. Buuuut I had to move here to this dreadful place, And guess what?!!!!!?!!? Our air conditioner went out. Being from WA i am soooo not used to this heat and stickyness. I am in a cranky mood, I am hott, sweating like a pig!! Someone help me now! I am so freakin hott! Although , I guess if I HAVE to think positive, it sure is making it alot easier to down all my water for the day. Anyways, hopefully our landlord makes up their mind so the guy can come back and fix what the compressor, that's what's wrong with it. Ugh, give me strength!! Well Wanted to complain... I hope all of you girls are doing well and staying cool, at least when your not exercising.... Well , im going to go sit in front of the fan, or better yet go swimming. Killing 2 birds with one stone! Cool off and good exercise! Yay! Well ttyl... Bye now! Have a good day!

How do you get started?

The diary is an essential help in reaching your weight loss goal. Writing down your goals and progress will motivate your in a way nothing else can, thus helping you reach your target weight much more easily. The diary is the success-secret of weight loss support groups, and it will help you too!

Here are some tips:

1. Before you begin your weight loss diary, ask yourself these questions:
• How much weight do you want to lose?
I have lost almost 50 lbs so far, starting at a whopping weight of 285 lbs. Now weighing in at 236.4 lbs. I hope to loose at least 40-50 more lbs. First goal, though, is to loose 36 lbs. to reach 200lbs.

• How much time do you hope to take to reach your goal?
To reach my first goal, I will allow myself 3 months. If reached sooner than that, then YAY!

• What methods will you use to accomplish your goal?
I plan to continue what I am already doing. Eating 6 small meals a day, under 250 calories, drinking my 105 oz. of water a day, and adding more and more exercise. << This is what I try to do, i don't always succeed every day. :(But I try!!

• Who or what can motivate you to help you reach your goal?
My husband has so far been a great encouragement to me. He goes and exercises with me and trys to limit what I eat lol. And for me visually see the numbers going down and my clothes feeling looser!

• Is your goal realistic?
Yes, I think so...


• When do you want to start?
Right now!!
