I know the program works. I have 2 people I know who have done it. I am just questioning it. Like I am SO, SO sick of these "diet centers" that proclaim how much they want to HELP you lose weight but then they didn't even look at my food journal for the last 2 weeks. So its like I go in, get weighed, get a shot, then the medical doctor comes in and asks me how Im feeling, checks my blood pressure and chest and then says...Ok keep up the good work! But there is like no personal attention, or education on what your doing and why your doing it.

So I leave there feeling a bit uncertain.

Like this apart of my life, everyday, all day is about learning how to make better choices with food, working-out and being healthy.

Sorry, Im just venting at this point...feeling a little ripped-off.

Hi and welcome rockin' mama! I was reading through your journals and I wanted to say congrats on your weightloss girl!!! WAY TO GO!!! I also wanted to say that 550 cals a day? I'm not sure about that...you're doc actually approved that? I SO understand that your hecka busy with your kids and thats honestly all the more reason you should be consuming more calories. My doc told me this(she's not a weightloss doctor, just a M.D)lol. Just a M.D right...ne ways she said of course you'll lose weight eating little to nothing, but you will gain it back SO FAST...if not double because you're body won't be used to those calories. Now if you're exercising and eating right then you'll have no problem. It's like this if you consume 1200 cals a day right? And you u burn lets say 600 total(that's with running after the kids plus your daily workout) you've only actually consumed 600 cals in all. THAT'S AWESOME! Your body has to have fuel mama.Otherwise you'll burn yourself out, be of no use to ne one else, and you'll look sick because you didn't lose it the healthy way. This is for lif so focus on developing LIFE HABITS. It's the BEST and ONLY way to keep it off girl. Keep up the good work and like spice said drink lots and lots of water! Till later...*SMOOCHES*

And just go to a reg doc...weightloss docs are so used to ppl coming in and out for one reason...they see everyone as one."Just trying to get their skinny on."lol So save some mulah girl!

I think its so hard for me now to get it out of my head that I can lose weight so fast. The 20 pounds that I lost still hasn't hit me. I mean yes I feel a little diff. in my clothes, but not like OH WOW 20 Pounds. Although my friend pointed out that her son weighs 20 pounds so she is like Nicole, you lost a whole baby off your body...so that made me feel really great.

Ok so here is my issue, and maybe some others struggle with this too....
U lose the weight but you don't really see it, others do but you don't WHY IS this? Why do we do this to ourselves? and how do we fix the image that we have of ourselves?

I look back at old pictures and want to cry because my body was so in shape and exactly the way I dream of it now. But I remember working so hard to get my body in shape, and then like "poof" it was gone. I don't really remember looking in the mirror and loving myself or my body.
I just don't want to make the same mistake in letting it all go.

Hola! And welcome Well as far as your weight loss center place...dang it girl that's a ish load of money you are spending! I go to a Dr./Nutritionist and I pay $60.00 (28 pills and I think I pay too much!) I go monthly get the shot as well so maybe you should ask around for like a doctor or a different center that offers phen.

As far as your cal intake GIRL YOU ARE GOING TO PASS OUT ONE DAY! Seriously you need to eat more...like I eat 1200-1500 calories a day (30 grams of fat which ever comes first) and I keep a JOURNAL (dude seriously- it may seem like a waste of time, but its not! You have to see on paper what you are shoving in your mouth, makes you think twice ).

Other people notice your loss because they don't see you 24-7 as you do in the mirror, I didn't notice it either until I actually compared some previous pics to recent ones and I am pretty happy THOUGH the first month I lost 16 lbs....so that was pretty awesome considering I was drinking liquor like a crazy drunken hooker...lol ( sorry once you get to know me, I have a mouth of sailor, but a soul of a saint...sike <<<that's me washing my mouth) so I go yesterday for my 2nd Dr. visit, (this month I busted my butt, like eating right, exercising like a maniac, and NO LIQUOR....I know) and I lost ALMOST 5 lbs...wtf is all that about- but I am toned so I guess I have gained muscle SO DON'T GET DISCOURAGED! Its sooo easy to quit! Its hard work girl, but stay focused!

Hey Mrs. Cadillac,
Thanks for the feedback, and yes I know this 500 calorie crap isn't gonna be healthy. AND I did find a new Dr. that only charges $45 a week. But Im sure I can find one to write me the prescription for the month....
I am have alot of muscle myself, so I have to keep reminding myself that I am losing crazy inches.
