Hi everyone well here's a quick update, I am still at my same weight of 200.4:( which means i am yet to meet my 1st minnie goal of under 200lbs but I am thankfull that i have not gained any weight i have been researching online about hitting a plateau on weigh loss and from what i have read it could be 3weeks before you get over the plateau and start to loose weight again so hopefully by the end of this week I am looking forward to being under the mark, I have still been eating healthy and working out 3-4 xs per week, I am now in love with the Elliptical's i use to dread using them but i actually noticed that I am burning more calories on it than when i used the treadmill so now i break up my cardio between the elliptical and the treadmill doing 15 mins on each then the weight machines, so with that being said wish me luck guys, I am hoping by my b-day in June i will be down to 160-170 that will i will only be 20-30 pnds away from my goal of 140

Good Morning all

I thought i'd take a quick min to post a quick thread so here we go....Last night I was really down about that fact that I have still not reached my minnie goal and the scale has not moved from 200:( so i made plans to get up this morning and workout for 1hr before work, I normally work out on Mon, Wed and Fri in the evening so i decided I would step it up a notch by working out in the morn as well for an hour and then when i get off i would work out again for 1hr but my morning did not go as plan since i overslept so i will just work out tonight and hopefully i can get up on time in the morning so i can work, I am really determined to get over this plateau and start losing again

Lele,
Don't get discourage now...look at what you have done---34 lbs is alot and think about how your bmi is going down, down, down and you are feeling and looking better. Lele, the best way to determine your weight loss is the scale but also through inches lost. Did you measure yourself? You might have not met you mini goal through weight loss but what about the inches loss. So pull out the tape measure and get those measurements recorded BECAUSE it is just as important as weight loss.
Girl give yourself a huge huge and say, I am still a big loser!

When you get home, JUST Put on those sneakers and put in that hour and work it OUT, LELE WORK IT out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Cut and pasted from Deetimes journal for Lele)

Lele,
Have you tried INTERVAL TRAINING OR HITT? Have you also tried getting off the phen for awhile like Stacy mentioned? Are you eating 10-15 % more because half of the time with the phen in our system we think that we are eating enough but we are no way near the recommended caloric intake. Remember phen fools the brain to think that you are not hungry. Water is great but you need the calories too.

I know that eventually it will pass and i will start to drop those lbs again, I am just a little impatient

Wow Lele, What a great attitude you have!! Dee is so motivating too and totally right about looking at your great accomplishments already. As soon as you stop stressing about that doggone plateau, you're going to step on that scale and it's gonna surprise you!! Also, as Dee said, change up that routine, which you already did today by working out this morning instead of tonight. It will set your body into, "Hey, what's going on here??" mode and sets your day in the burn burn burn mode. I'm also going to change my routine to early afternoons (until I start back to work on the 16th) instead of evenings or maybe in addition. We'll see.
Well girlie, Keep up the great attitude!! We're all looking forward to your 199 or below post!! I'm sure it's gonna be anyday now. Have a great day! Tammie
