Honey you need to go ahead and stop taking the phen! Your health is so much more important then that phen. I know you can keep up your weight loss with out it!! It may take a little more will power then before but you can still do it! The symptoms you were describing sound alot like a heart attact. Remember women demonstrate different symptoms then men. Do I think you had a heart attack probably not yet atleast? What you were experiencing probably had more to do with the tachycardia which in turn can cause the electrical activity of your heard to go crazy and could cause a heart attack. I don't want to scare you but you need to be careful!!! Just hang in there and be careful!! You are to young to already be having these problems!!! Keep your head up and hang in there!!!
Tiff

Hi all, I haven't posted in about a week I have been enjoying the weather with the kids. I have been taking it easy since my appointment with the Dr. although I did get my Phen. refilled and I am still taking it. I still go to the gym on a daily basis but just don't push so hard. I am still losing I weighed in at 169.8
That is 40 down. I am really trying to stay focused on my goal. Good luck to everyone else.

Hi Just read your journal and I gotta say congrats on loosing all that weight!!! But be careful with the heart issue and tachycardia is a symptom/result of phentermine along and if you have rapid excessive weight loss that also can cause heart issue/complications. I know someone was trying to get me to not take phen and was saying how a family memeber had gotten a heart issue due to the phen she used to be on. But I think she already had an underlying issue and I kno that im healthy heart wise etc so Im taking my chances. But congrats and good luck!!!! And id def wein off the phen and add more cardio to my excersize routine to nake up for coming off phen.
Good luck hunn!!&& be safe.

Hi there. I was reading your journal and it grabbed me. My mother died at age 54 from serious heart problems. I am worried about your heart. I think that you look amazing now and have come a long way. You can do it. You have already made it a good habit and a way of life. Be safe and be healthy. Stop taking the phen.

Take Care! Jaimie

Thanks for the concerns. I have been considering stopping the Phen. but I do not think it caused it either does the Dr. I believe it was just an underlying issue. I am trying to be very careful as my grandfather and 4 of his brother and sisters all died around the age of 40 due to heart problems.
So it is hereditary
I just want to be healthy and live a long life for me and my children.
Again thanks for the support.
