Okay, so today is day 13 of being on Phentermine 30 mg capsules for me. I have lost 11 pounds so far and feeling excellant. I have cut my calorie intake drastically and am actually exercising on my gazelle now instead of just letting it collect dust in the basement. My energy level is great, and my kids are loving the "happier" mom. I am a little nervous about whether this level of loss will keep up or will it level off and slow down. I am trying very hard to change my eating habits so that when I have to go off the phentermine it won't be so difficult to keep the weight off. I am weighing myself every morning because seeing the amount I am losing daily is such a confidence booster for me. I have some people that have told me that when I go off the medicine, I will gain all the weight back plus more, and that scares me a little, and makes me try harder to change my habits. Has anyone experienced this problem, or are they just trying to rain on my parade? Well, I will keep posting, hopefully with more wonderful results. I am so excited to finally find something that is working! I just know this will help the pain in my knees so much!

Thank you, spice, for the words of encouragement. Today is day 15 and my weight loss is up to 13.1 lbs. I am really making changes to my eating habits and I plan on keeping those habits for the rest of my life. I still can't believe how good this is working! I put a pair of jeans on this morning that I haven't had on in over a year! YAY! Hope you all have a great weekend!

It is day 17 of being on the phentermine, and I am still sitting at 13 lbs lost. But I haven't lost confidence because with it being the weekend, my diet wasn't as strict as during the week. I spent the day today putting together a swing set for my kids and that about wore me out, so I'm counting that as some good exercise there! Hopefully, with the busy week I have ahead of field trips with the kids I will be able to keep up the exercise and weight loss. I'm looking forward to seeing how much more I can lose!

Congradulations on all of your weight loss thus far. You are doing great!! Keep it up! Remember to drink at least 100oz of water daily!! Helps with the dry mouth too.

Have a great day!
Jaimie

Thanks for the tip about the water. The dry mouth is worse on some days than it is on others I've noticed. I am down 14 lbs. today, and feeling good. I am looking forward to getting to that 20 lb. mark! I have it in my sights and am going to work my butt off to get there!
