Okay I'm starting my journal...

August 26th, 2009 I went to the my wt. loss dr. and weighed 171! yes...and today One Week later Down 10 pounds

I wasn't a fat kid,,,I even stayed in the 120's when i had my three kids..Age is what did it ...starting at 30 I went to 130's then the 40's 140's...get the picture

My scale said 165 and I knew i had to do something beyond what i was doing...My daughters friend was seeing Dr. Prosser in Tarpon Springs, Fl. and lost a ton of weight in what seemed like no time at all...So i made my apt. first visit they did talk me into a body wrap and i lost 3 pounds of water wt...and 45.00!

So My house scale says 155 and the dr. scale says 161 ..6 pounds off but im just keeping tabs on pounds lost not the number...When I see me fit in a size 6 I'll feel good no matter what number it says..thats my goal..

I have to remind myself to eat because i have no appetite on these pills but i feel so much better "inside" if you know what i mean...no change in clothes because i was a tight 12 no they fit better..My husband says he sees a difference...I don't on the outside..but I'm happy

Today im making salmon w/lemon, garlic, and parsley and spinach that is my dinner ...don't know what lunch is maybe a salad ...breakfast is always fruit as well as my night snack if i feel like one which i haven't had since day one..

Oh, anyone know the nutrientional contents of mc donalds parfait seems like a good choice if im out yogurt and fruit ...

Way to go!!! And congrats on starting your jounal!! Two great things at once! lol!

You are doing a great job. This is not an easy road to travel, but so far you are making some good choices.

I'm sorry I don't know the info on the mcdonalds parfait, but you are right, it would by far be better than some other choices out there!

thank you, tomorrow i go for my blood test testing thyroid and diabetes..I have to fast 12 hrs. b4 so my last meal will be 6pm tonight except water of course..

feeling good today rode my bike a mile w/my nephew and did my pilates ropes for 10min.

will check in weekly to update weight loss

6:30 am went for my blood test got discount price by telling them i had no insurance there is a program out there called labaccess program..ask for it..

I just had my fruit for breakfast a pear and my decaf coffee and water bottle.

L - big salad..lots of diff. veggies..o/v (olive oil & red wine vinegar).

D - shrimp made in olive oil and fresh garlic added whole bag of stir fry veggies and a cup of water...some chilli powder

S- peach and green tea over ice w/splenda

work out pilates ropes 8 min. 1 1/2 mile bike ride two hills..

Thanks I feel so much better than a week ago..

today i took my mom to her cancer dr. at 10 am then after wards she wanted something to eat so we stopped in wendys and so my day so far:

B- hot lemon water, purple grapes

L- wendys side salad, hd. boiled egg (that i brought) , iced water w/lemon

D- lamb chop , steamed spinach

S- a pear

babysitting my grandson tonight...did my ropes this morning but thats it for exercise until tonight

Hi! Way to go on your loss! That is great! It is such a wonderful feeling to see those results and to know that you CAN do it!! Woo Hoo for you!!

As far as posting a picture, if you would like to post it here in your journal, just go to advanced reply (I think that is what it says) below where you type in your post. When you get to that area and get your post all typed in, if you scroll down a little bit you will see an area where it says Additional Options and Attatch Files. Click the Manage Attachment button, and it should allow you to download photos to add into your post.
