We have all reached plateaus in our weight loss....you have to stay strong with it even though that I know it is difficult.
The only way I know to get over the plateau is to change your habits. This keeps your body guessing and working harder. Zig zagging is the best approach....change the amount of calories you take in each day. For example, if you have 1500 calories today, have 1900 tomarrow, and 1200 the next day. Keep changing it every day. Also, if you are doing the same type of exercise the same every day, change that. For example, if you walk 2 blocks every evening at 6 pm, walk 3 blocks at 7 am. The next day walk 4 blocks at 2 pm.
By always changing our activities and diet, it makes our bodies work harder for us because they don't know what to expect so they don't get "bored". And I know that you say you are moving around more, and that is really good, but you have to do things that get your heart rate up and keep it up for a specific amount of time to get the full benefits of exercise. I mean it is great that you are doing more, but sometimes that just isn't enough.
And remember, we didn't gain this weight overnight, so we can't expect to lose it that fast, either. So don't give up!! You will get there if you keep it up!
