Ok so today is only day 2 on Phen 15mg but it is not making the hunger go away whatsoever. Is this normal? Does it take a certain amount of time before its supposed to kick in?

well let me tell you that that happened to me in the begining....to be honest with you i think that the 15 mg doesnt make the hunger go away because is a relative small amount compare with 30mg or 37 mg, i have been heard from them that they can barely eat....and that doesnt happen to me...however i think it is better that way because is just a life style change you have to teach your body and mind to eat healthy..try this when you are hungry eat a jello sugar free containd only 5 calories and make you feel good, also drink plenty of water that somtimes help (i say sometimes because alo sometimes after i drink water a feel hungrier) any way the best idea for me is keep you mind busy doing something and not to be thinking the all day that you are dieting....so far i do not think that i am on diet it is just that i am eating less and healthier.....sometimes especially on weekends i eat something i want but during the week i am so stricted with the food, also i try to excercise more on weekends better in the morning because i know probably i will eat more than i plan....anyways do not worry if i could do it you can too, it just take a little time for the body to adapt to the med...sometimes i still think if the loosing will be because of the med or only because i am eating less, healthier asn excesing more, but still i am planning to take the phen 15 mg until i reach m goal, and the truth will came when i am off the med to see if i really changed mi life style forever...i hope so i do not want to depend on anything to keep my goals.....good luck and keep us inform how do you feel after a couple of days do not give up soon you will see that scale going down and that will give you the strengh to fo foward on this journey.....Good luck

EXACTLY!!!!!! chaquira is 100% right!! It is all about how you change your life and habits. Most of the time our cravings and such aren't really about hunger, they are about habit...and if you don't make the effort to change those habits, you won't get the results you want, and it will make it much harder once you are off the phen to keep it off. I know that you hear about people talking about making themselves eat while on the higher mg but that usually only lasts a short time...and then they...we....are doing the same thing you are doing.

You CAN do it!! It is a very hard road to travel but the lessons we learn while on it make it worth while!

Writing down everything you eat in a journal is a great way to be accountable for your diet....when you see it in black and white, you will see what you need to change. There are so many times I used to "graze" not realizing how much damage I was doing not only to my body but by making habits that would be so difficult to change.

Let us know how you are doing!!! Have a good day!

Hi, goldiloxs. I am taking half a 37.5 tablet a day. I find I will get a little hungrier at times, I just satisfy that with a low calorie snack like chaquira said. My weight loss doctor requires three extra servings of protein a week, so I eat protein bars(the snack size, not meal replacement bars). I also like weight watchers cookies. They are really good and filling. Best of luck to you!

Fruit also makes a good filling snack....things like grapes and strawberries and watermelon are all things that can be prepared beforehand so that you can just grab them out of the fridge when the munchies hit. Anything that you can keep in the house or office that will help you fill in those times of feeling hunger that will not sabotage your diet. A lot of times, when we feel hunger, it is more habit than actual hunger. If you can find something to take your mind off it, like taking a walk or playing an online game, or anything that will focus your attention somewhere else, and you will find it a lot easier, too.
