Thanks so much everyone!! I haven't weighed in since my last post BUT got my period unexpectedly about 3 days later!! Hopefully that's what it is. I hid my scale and don't weigh in again until Tuesday AM. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I have made some progress at the end of my first full week! I will let you know!!!!!!
This forum is so great - it makes such a difference to be able to hear from people on the exact same journey Thanks for all your words of encouragement!!

Glad to help!!! This site is an awesome place to really feel like you fit in because everyone is going down the same road as you and know all of the potholes along the way!!!! This is the first time in my life (and that is a loooong time!! lol!) that I actually feel in control of my weight and where it is going, and this forum is a big part of that!!

I personally find that if I weigh myself daily I get more discouraged with the scale fluctuating. My hubby noticed this and he removed the scale (didn't tell me where he put it), and he brings it out on Monday morning so I can weigh myself.

The reason he hid my scale was because I would get depressed when the scale would stay the same or go up a little. It was like I was obsessed with weighing myself. I am finding I'm not worrying about fluctuations.

OK guys, I am at my one week mark and have only lost 2.5 pounds. I am disapointed. It seems like week one would have had a bigger loss..... Thoughts? Advice? Cheer me up?
