hey nicgirl! I eat them in moderation. I would say they are ok, but homemade are best. I eat those on the days, I am tired and lazy. Those are my lazy meals. As for portion control, I use measuring cups, and I purchased a food scale. It really does help. A LOT! I got mine at walmart last year. It was only like $23 or something, but it totally worth the investment. I got measuring cups and spoons together for .99cent at target. It helps so much instead of just "eyeing" things. I tend to eye things when im away from home. I know smart ones have a lot of sodium actually they call kinda do, so I would try to resort to them on the days you are to tried to prepare anything. Also on those days i eat a lot of salt I up my water intake. I dunno if it works or not but I've heard salt retains water. So I figure by drinking more it will help flush it out  Hope thats helps!
