Hi ladies is been a wile , well i haven been very cheerful lately
i felt like i had noting to report is been very depressing for me is been 2 weeks and i haven't lost a pound is going to get worst when i go the Dr and realize that i took phen for 3 weeks and dint loose a pound i am hopping that i loose something before i go to her. is been really bad with the constipation and in result of that i have bloating that makes me very uncomfortable .The Dr told me to buy miralax is very expensive it did noting for me So i was so uncomfortable yesterday that i yust had to take a harsh laxative.Patty what is the name of what you are taking . Congratulations to all of you that lost weight. been reading every ones post and every one is having great result. don't get me wrong i am very happy with the 32 pounds that i lost but i am hoping to reach my mini goal with is 40 pounds OK ladies i have to go will post latter or check your post

nicgirl, I am so sorry that you are feeling a little down in the dumps!! Chin up!! You have done an awesome job, and don't think that you haven't!! You are more than half way to your goal!!! That is impressive!!

I have been taking magnesium supplements. The tablets are 250 mg, and the bottle suggests one tablet a day, but because of the constipation problem that I have, I have been taking 2 pills at lunch time after I eat and it is working wonderfully. There is no cramping or bloating and I am very happy with the results so far. I got them at Walmart, but have also seen them at Walgreens and they would probably be at any nutritional store. They were about $7.00 for 100 tablets, I think, so not really expensive either.

Have you tried zig zagging your calories and exercise? That is usually what it takes for me to kick my loss into gear again. I am losing pretty good right now, but that is because I have recently gone back on after being off that 30 days, so it usually does work better after that. And I have really been kicking the exercise up a notch, too. Nothing fancy, but things that will get my heart pumping for at least 15 minutes every day.

Don't let this little bump in the road throw you off course!! There have been a few times when my loss has been at a stand still, too, so you are not alone, there! I was swearing to my husband that my scale was broken for about 3 weeks because it barely moved....he finally stepped on it to prove to me it wasn't the scale! lol! He's such a stinker sometimes! lol! So, believe me when I say that I really do understand! Try changing things around....change your calorie intake every day, change your exercises, not just what exercise you are doing, but when you do it and for how long. And to be honest, if you are having a big problem with the constipation, it could be the source of not losing, too.

Hang in there, I just know it will get better for you!!! You have to pull your belt in another notch and push yourself as best as you can!!

Keep us posted on how you are doing!! And, by the way, I bet your dr will be thrilled with what you have accomplished so far.....don't look at the little things....look at the BIG picture!!!

Thanks! I was feeling a little brave....I don't like having my picture taken! lol! I have posted a before and an "in progress" one in my journal, too. My son helped me out with my "in progress" ones today!

I really like this guy.lol Ok ladies i figure since i get on site to vent, i should get on when i am feeling better well got on the scale today and i was 1.5 down that made me feel a litle better but then i put mi size 14 and it fit loose i was amaze when i started in June i was weighing 220 wearing 16 and 18 size pans 2XL blouses .so for me to see my self in a size 14 and XL and L in blouses i just good not believe it. so i thing that i may body was loosing inches, i look at my body today real good and i did not have that much love handle i mean it is not completely gone.lol and my son told me that i had no more but i just smile @ him and i say to him you are a typical man. lol patty thanks for all your kind word and support. .patty how did you get that quote and yuor post i have one that i will like to share it hit me in the face when i was felling sorry for my self

Oh I am so glad that you are feeling better!!! Woo Hoo for you!! And your loss is doing great...you should be very proud of your progress!! And you are right, sometimes we need to take a good hard look at ourselves because even if the changes aren't showing on the scale, they are probably showing in the mirror!!

To post a quote like that, you go to your signature like where you paste your ticker and type it either above or below the info for your ticker. Then save the changes and it should show with every post just like your ticker.

You know, you and I started at almost the same weight, are about the same weight now, and our goal is the same weight...except I started in April and you started in June is really the only difference. You are doing an excellant job, and we are wearing about the same sizes!!! That is really kind of funny!! Cool!

see you are doing good. you are like me, you just want it sooo bad when you get stuck its the worst feeling in the world. zig zag your calories it will trigger weight loss. im afraid to get on the scale today, i had a nice pig out session yesterday for my end of the month. (i could blame it on pms, pizza and bread sticks yum! not to mention a hamburguer w cheese, pasta salad, tuna salad and bday cake. ohh im afraid even try to figure out calories. so today im back on track. im afraid to get on the scale but i need to lol! but seriously you are doing great! size 14 is awesome! i would love to be a size 14, i have to comed down 4 more sizes still!!!
