Hi, I decided to start a weight loss journal. I started loosing weight back in April when I weighed in at 245 pounds today I weighed in at 172 pounds so I'm very happy with the 73 pounds I've lost so far, my goal is to be at 150 pounds by April 2010. I'm only 22 pounds from my goal but I know getting through the holidays is going to be very tough. I do think my goal is very realistic and I should be able to reach it within the time frame I am aiming for. I exercise at the gym 4 to 5 days a week and then walk 7 days a week. I have not cut out any foods I just have them in moderation and for this has really helped because I know if I were to limit what I can have I'd never stick to it. I have taken Phentermine since April and I'm going to start getting off of it very soon and see how it goes. I think it should go ok now that I'm used to portion control.

Today was my 29th week weigh in and it was a very slow weight loss week, I only lost 1 pound but I was expecting a slow week because last week I somehow managed to have a very good week of losing 3.2 pounds. So as of today I am weighing 170.6 I can not wait to break into the 160's but it seems it's taking forever. I know I just have to be patient but sometimes it's so hard. I'm starting to try to slowly get myself off phentermine since I'm only about 20 pounds from my goal, I am starting to take them every other day and see how that works for me so far today has been good and I didn't take one.

Well after last week's slow week this week I had another fantastic week. I weighed in at 167.4 so I lost 3.2 pounds this week I was thrilled. I'm thinking some of that success was due to the fact I started working at curves and I worked 4 days this past week and I really thinking standing up and being active a lot during the day really helped boost up the loss. Plus I have started zigzagging as Patty suggested with the food and the exercise and I really believe it's also made a big difference. It's great to finally see the numbers moving in the right direction on the scale. I can't believe I'm only 17.4 pounds away from my goal it's such a great feeling.

Thanks, I'm so happy to say that as of today I am down 80 pounds, I'm so happy about this accomplishment. It feels great. I weighed in today at 165. I can't believe I'm only 15 pounds from my first goal.

WOW! Way to go! That is awesome! I am very happy and proud for you. I am only 3 weeks into my journy and have lost 18 lbs. so far. Keep it up, your testimony is a inspriration to me everyone here!!!!!

Thanks so much you are doing awesome yourself. My weight last week after 3 Thanksgiving Dinners wasn't very good. I actually gained .02 but I was happy it was no more then that. Then my weigh in today I am down 2.8 pounds for this week so I'm very pleased with those results. I am weighing in today at 162.2 I have been that weight for the last 3 days. So I'm hoping soon I can start the scales moving down again. It's hard to believe I'm just 12 pounds from my first goal of 150. But, I'm pretty sure I'll at least go down to 145 and then decide from there if I want to maintain or if I'd like to loose a bit more.
