Hoodia H 57

Hoodia 57 is a part of the Hoodia Gordonii product line.  The makers of Hoodia 57 claim that this diet supplement helps consumers lose weight quickly, feel full faster, stay full longer, suppress appetite, and lose weight with no side effects.  It works solely on the concept that reduced calorie consumption will result in weight loss.  It does not take into consideration that burning more calories than are consumed will result in a more lasting weight loss.

Hoodia 57 contains P57 which is an extract from Hoodia Gordonii.  The plant is found in South Africa.  It is believed to have been used by the San Bushmen of the Kahari desert for thousands of years to ward off hunger and thirst during lengthy hunting expeditions.  Hoodia Gordonii, in its purest form causes the brain to think it’s less hungry, thus the consumer has a reduced appetite.  It is considered to be a natural appetite suppressant.

The main concept is to stop “hormonal hunger” which is caused by insulin levels fluctuating.  This fluctuation causes cravings for sweets and carbohydrates.  In pure form, however, it has also shown to affect “real hunger” which occurs when your body really does need sustenance.  It is important to eat normal meals when taking this product whether you feel hungry or not.  Skipping meals or starving oneself can prove to be dangerous.  One dose is said to decrease interest in eating and drinking for a full day, so it is important to stay hydrated as well.

There have been no published clinical studies proving the effectiveness of this weight loss supplement.

Research has revealed that it is virtually impossible to fit the amount of Hoodia these liquid and similar products claim fit in the typical 1 ounce Hoodia liquid bottle.Avoid hoodia products from websites using spam emails. Their products are all virtually fake. Likewise avoid free trials. Hoodia cannot be provided free with Hoodia’s cost at over $ 300/Kilo.
