It works by suppressing or controlling desire for food, just like Phentermine, but it can be used without doctor’s prescription. Still it’s not good for people with serious ailments, as well as for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Phentramin-D is also a short-term solution, but it may be taken for a maximum of three months straight, and then on and off just to maintain one’s weight and figure. Taking the pill for the first month can be an arduous journey, as the body may experience shock. It’s recommended that the pill be taken in combination with balanced diet and basic exercise.
