Desert Burn contains Hoodia, which is proven effective in appetite suppression - as long as it’s a quality extract. The capsules contain a 750mg dose of Hoodia, which seems like plenty. However, we felt uneasy when viewing the Desert Burn website as they played the scare tactic game, saying we’d better buy it now before the supply runs out. Yeah, right. We were also disappointed to see that Desert Burn doesn’t contain other essential metabolic enhancers and Hoodia-amplifiers like Chromium, Green Tea, Guarana, and Cha’ De Bugre.
Chitosan is a compound derived from the shells of shellfish. Unlike most diet products, it doesn’t stimulate at all. Chitosan bonds to the fat molecules in the food you eat and stops your body from absorbing them. This means you can still eat badly and not gain weight. This might be great if you want to take Chitosan all of your life. One upside to Chitosan is the affordability. The downsides are that it can cause allergic reaction in people with seafood allergies, and that it might block absorbtion of essential vitamins, and that it may be unsuitable for daily dosage.
Green tea extract stimulates your metabolism. This helps your body burn more fat. However, Green tea alone may not work effectively to help you lose weight. Dieters generally see a higher success rate when using appetite suppressants combined with metabolic stimulants such as green tea extract. The main upside to Green Tea is that it’s affordable compared with similar products.
Hydroxycut® uses Caffeine, Guarana, Green Tea, Garcinia Cambogia Extract to stimulate your metabolism in an effort to burn fat. The ingredients are mainly forms of caffeine, and it doesn’t contain any dangerous stimulants like Ephedra. Hydroxycut is not designed to suppress appetite, and it is more expensive than similar products that are available.
