I love it, I have lost 15lbs in 3 months but I also have been training for a marathon. With a full time job and the training, I don’t think that I would have the energy without it!

I started phentermine on February 15th, I weighed 222 lbs. It is 3 weeks later and I weigh 205 lbs. I ~lost 17 lbs~ .. The first week I did have some side effects, such as insomnia & I was a bit hyperactive; but it definately curbed my appetite! The last 2 weeks it has continued to curb my appetite; but the weight is coming off!! I am sooo happy! I want to loose at least 30 more. I have not started excercising. My goal is 1 month with-out excercise and then I will start :)… The only side affect now is the cotton mouth :(.. but if that is the worst, I am ok with that!!

i bought this Phentermine at http://www.medsheaven.com couple of weeks ago and i just love how it works. its really a tough challenge for me eating small meals per day but when i tried this pill, wow its just amazing! it really suppress my appetite, and good thing is, i didn’t feel meal deprived at all. I actually recommended it to some friends and they too are getting positive results ( with balanced diet and proper exercise ). side effects are bearable, overall, its good!

I started taking Phentermine on 10/03/09. I took it right before I left the Doctor’s office. By the time I arrived home (about 20 minutes) I was so full of energy, I went outside and cleaned out my shed. That is a project I had been putting off for quit some time. I finally had the energy to get off my lazy behind and do it. I wasn’t hungry all day and had to make myself eat. The only side affect, if it was one, was that I had a major headache. That could have been caffeine withdrawals though. (I had decided to cut of the diet soda’s I seem to have been living on).

That was on Saturday. On Sunday, I didn’t have near the energy, but I still felt good, peppy you might say, and still not hungry. I take medicine for acid reflux and didn’t need to take it all weekend. That has to be a good sign. I also have RLS, and take meds twice a day for that. I had so much energy that I didn’t sit still for very long, so I didn’t take the daytime med. That was a mistake, because when I did finally rest, my legs and arms were restless. Maybe because I needed the meds to regulate the imbalance. So for the first two night I had trouble sleeping. Could have been not taking my meds or the phentermine. I don’t really know, but all is well now. I take both just to be safe.

The Dr. put me on a 1400 cal a day diet, I’m not supposed to call it a diet, but what else do you call your eating allowance, whether it be 2000 or 1000 cal a day, it’s some kind of diet. Anyway, I have had trouble even getting to 1000 cal a day. I eat all three meals, and even have a snack or two every day. But, I now choose healthy foods and usually only end up eating half of what put on my plate. I drink lots and lots of water every day. Mainly because of the cotton mouth, but its help satiate my appetite too, and my skin looks better than ever from all the water. That’s a plus too. I do try to exercise a few times a week too.

So today is my 6th day on the pills and as of yesterday morning I had lost 11 lbs. Yesterday afternoon I got my monthly visitor and when I weighed this morning I had gained 2.3 of those lbs. back. I’m pretty sure it’s just the visitor and those along with more lbs. will be gone by this time next week. Or at least they had better be…

I’m sorry this has been such a long review. But I really had more to say about this product., but spared you the torture of me rambling on more that I already have. I am very happy so far and will update next week after my visitor leaves. I wish everyone the best of luck.

Dee,

I am on a 800-1000 caloried diet per my doctor (medifast) and I also take 37.5 Phentermine (under doctor’s care). I like Medifast b/c after the 1st week I no longer crave food, but know that I have to eat to fuel my body. And having the Pnentermine helps me with any cravings–which are mainly out of boredom, etc. (unfortunately, I think I’d be considered middleaged too)YIKES.

I find that the Phentermine is not as good as it used to be. The very best manufacturer was in New Jersey but that facility closed down. I now go to a weight loss clinic that does their own compound and that seems to work for me.

I do KNOW Phen works as I lost 27 pounds in 3 months–with watching what I ate, (became a vegetarian)…no fast foods, drinking 6 glasses of water a day and exercising at least 30 minutes. I kept this weight off for 9 years b/c i changed my eating habits! And it was great. Then I became pregnant and gained a whopping amt of weight and now that I am older, it’s hard to get back into the swing of things..but I’m working on it.

Good luck to you!

I started taking Phentermine 2 weeks ago, and it has really helped me control my eating. I am a nurse, active and consider myself healthy, however I needed something to jump start my health program and help me control eating. After reading a lot of the reviews, I am sorry to say I wish you couldn’t get this drug online with out required education about the drug and your health. This drug does suppress your appetite and helps boost energy; HOWEVER you cannot just stop eating while you are taking the drug and plan to KEEP the weight off! If you strave your body, whether you FEEL hungery or not, your body is going to hold onto those few calories it is getting and your metabolism is going to sink to nothing. Your body HAS to be fed and fueled, no matter what your weight is. This is NOT a miracle pill, you cannot sit on the couch and be un healthy and pop a pill and expect a miracle. For your own good and your own health, please educate yourself on good eating habits and exercise, even it is just walking around the block a few times. The idea of popping a pill and expecting to be “healthy” does not exist. I wish you all good efforts in being healthy and healthy weight loss!

I have been taking phentermine for 2 months now an I LOVE IT!!! I have always had a problem with my weight and i had lost 50- 60 lbs once with exercise and water, but i wasn’t as heavy as i am now, in about 4 months. I just had a baby delivered by c- section and am still very sore and feel so heavy that exercise is just hard. So i found phentermine asked my doc about it and he prescribed it to me. I do not exercise and should defininately drink more water but i have lost 20 lbs. i am back to 208 and am going to start exercising again today to help lose more weight. I should mention that when i start to feel hungry i drink red bull and eat something light or healthy. I do cheat but have much more will power.

I absolutely love this pill…i had a baby 2 years ago and and i gained 60lbs while i was pregnant…and after the baby i tried everything to get it off and nothing helped….i have only been on this 3 days and i have lost 8lbs…which i know most of it is water but it still motivates me a lot!!!!!!!!! I started at 188 on 2/21/09 and on 2/23/09 i weigh 180…i take mine about noon time and it helps so much..i work as a nurses aid in a nursing home doing the 3-11 shift and i have so much energy…..i do have cotton mouth but as long as i drink water like crazy i think ill be OK…cant wait for swimsuit time!!!!!!!my goal is 140 by summer so hopefully i can make it!!!!good luck to y’all!!!!!

I think it is hard to rate something that I have only been taking since Feb 6th, but so far no complaints. In fact LOL, it brought back younger day memories. That is all I am going to say about that.
I am sure I have lost something just not sure how much yet. Spend a lot of time running to the bathroom… Lol.. no one can go to the bathroom as many times as I do an NOT lose something.
I do have to say, being middle aged (can’t believe I said that) I have physically and emotionally in a funk if you will. Having a hard time getting up in the morning, wanting to go back to bed, almost depression I guess. But NOW…. I wake up 5:30 6:00 because I want to, get somethings done, have engery to want to do more. My emotional outlook seems to be coming back. That means alot to me.

Now I have a question. The doctor has me on a 1200 (diabetic diet, I am not diabetic for my size which is amazing) a day. This meal plan consist of 6 servings of starches a day, which when I am trying to lose weight I usually eat low carb and this new meal plan I am suppose to only eat 4oz meat a day! WOW… is that enough?

Okay now the question, has anyone tried using the Phenetermine while eating a low, low carb diet and exercise. Meaning only fresh veggies and later on adding fruit eliminating starches? When I truly start with Atkins, and move into the South Beach way of eating, I feel good. I just could not mentally start it again. I needed help.

Thank you for sharing

Phentermine is the single best diet pill out there in my opinion! I tried everything to lose weight before I found it. However for me, I only need the 15mg daily to get the maximum appetite control. Any more than this and I start to get side effects; after all it is a very powerful pill! I have never known anything to completely wipe out my appetite like phentermine does! I lost 17 pounds in 10 weeks on it and I feel great every day!

It works for me! It also worked for my aunt. In about 6 months, she lost about 50lbs without exercising. The bad thing is that she has a lot of excess skin. You have to exercise b/c the weight loss is so dramatic that you’ll end up with excess skin if you don’t.

I started my plan again last week. I’m taking the pill plus I got a B12/Lipoden shot and I exercised 3 days last week and lost 6.2 lbs.

I have been off and on with this drug. I took it about 6 mths ago and I lost like 20 lbs in my first 2 weeks. I recently went back to the doctor and got my script refilled. Just wanted to say for the people that have all the cotton mouth, YOU’RE NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WATER. I drink water CONSTANTLY when I take this and don’t have a problem with dry mouth at all. I have also been drinking unsweetened green tea like crazy. I’m going to the Bahamas at the end of January and I refuse to go looking like a beach whale. I’ll keep everyone informed on my success. =)

I have always been on the heavy side all my life thanks to genetics. My senior year of highschool I was a size 14/16 and was teased sometimes. I know how difficult it can be to be different. I went to college where I gained not only the freshman 15 but probably the freshman 20. I took metabolife 356 with ephedra and lost about 25lbs doing that. I was really sad to see them take it off the market and now it couldn’t be found anywhere.

Now I’ve finished college and started a job where I sit front of a computer all day long. I had probably gained aother 25 lbs and am now at a disgusting 250 lbs. I can not believe I let myself get like this. I have now joined a weight loss clinic that gives me a B12 (energy) and B6 (weightloss) shot once a week along with phemtermine 37.5. Since my blood pressure was a little elevated they decided to cut the pill in half and try that for a week to see if my BP would come down.

I had the shots on monday night and tuesday I started the phemtermine. I was actually starving by the end of they day and very discouraged. I also have cut out soda so I was suffering from a massive headache from caffine withdraws. I was wondering if the phentermine wasn’t working b/c it was only half a pill.

Day 2 rolls around and I get up and take my multi vit and half of my phentermine pill. To my suprise I had absolutely NO appetite. I had to force myself to eat at 11:45. Through out the day I drank around 100oz of water with lemon snaked on frozen grapes. I was not really hungry at all during the day. Around 6:30 I fixed myself a healthy choice meal and was completely content for the rest of the day.

I am now on day 3 and decided I would see if I had lost anything weight. I couldn’t believe I had dropped 3lbs in one day! HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!!! I am super excited that everything is working the way it should.

The only side effects I have felt would be the headaches but I don’t think its from the meds but rather my body coming off no caffine. I am looking forward to sharing my journey over the next year with all of you.

I took phentermine before for about 5 months and I lost 30 lbs. I quit taking it cold turkey and gained all but 7 lbs. back. I am back on the phentermine because it has been the only thing that works for me, an overeater. I am very energetic, motivated, and disciplined while on the pill. I use to work third shift @ Wal-Mart so I know what you mean about waking up late. I used to sleep all day and go to work @ 10pm-7am. I took my pill @ night because that’s when I was up. Your body doesn’t know what time it is, you have to train it. If you’re up at night and sleep all day, take it at night. Vise versa. The pill works either way, day or night. If you wake up at 10am, take the pill before 12pm. I started taking mine at 11am this time because I don’t eat breakfast anyway. If I do, it’s my favorite Oatmeal Squares with fat free milk. That way I’m not hungry in the evening and the rest of the night until I go to sleep. I don’t go to sleep at 9pm. It’s usually later for me, so I need for the pill to last all night. I have been on all kinds of other diets or internet scams and this is the only thing that has worked for me. I did lose weight by dieting and exercising alone when I was 21 but I’m 26 now and I don’t have the metabolism nor the will power that I had then. I also have 2 small boys. Not everyone will have the same results because some of you have lost more in 1 day than I have in one week. If it doesn’t work for you, don’t discourage others, just try something else.

I give phentermine a five. I used this weight loss drug about 5 years ago and lost fourty pounds in 2 months. I just started using it again 3 weeks ago, and at my 2 week check in with the doctor I had lost 10 pounds. I’m not excited yet, because I still can not see any difference, I will start to get excited once the first twenty is lost. My goal is to lose fifty this time. I was weighing 210 at check in two weeks ago, and 200 when i went for my check up. My goal weight is to get to about 150-160. I did this last year with exercise and it only took three months but after having problems with my bladder and having surgery…i was not allowed to excersize for six months. Well, now i’m released from the doctor and I had become discouraged because i had gain all that weight back from being inactive. SO I decided PHENTERMINE to the recue, and then once i get back where i want to be….i will start my exercise pattern again. I guess after that last sentence your wondering….if i’m exercising. No….and i’m still losing weight. THis medicine is an appetitie suppressant and it increasings your metabolism. I do not recommend doing things the way I am. THis just happens to work for me. BUt after i get my weight down to what i want…i will stop taking the phentemine and start exercising that way my metabolism won’t faulter from stop taking the drug.. so anyways. GOod luck to everyone, I just figured I’d share my story.

I have taken phentermine before, it has been several years. Other family members also took it. We all lost weight using it. We all lost weight without really changing anything. We moved out of state and I do not know where to get phentermine now. I have ordered online but the pills that came did not do anything, so I am sure they were not real. Does anyone know where to get them online that is safe, or if there are any other diet pills out there that really work? Thanks!

Where is everyone GETTING their phentermine online? (that is, if not from their dr.?)
There are so many on-line companies I’ve read and even tried to purchase from over the last 18 months, that take your money and you never receive the medication. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!

question - i started taking phentermine 1/2 37.5 mg tablet four days ago. I still have no appetite suppression or any of the side effects described. i take it 1-2 hours prior to eating breakfast. i currently walk 3-4 miles a day and have cut back calories and carbs. i basically need phentermine as a boost to help curb my appetite as im severe addicted to food. any suggestions to help. i have been dieting and exercising for 2-3 weeks and have lost 5-8 pounds per this alone, but i am afraid i am going to have a breakdown and start eating again out of control

I have been taking Phentermine for quite awhile and can offer some advice, but I will say this… Results are not typical so don’t shoot the messenger if you don’t happen to have these side effects or results! :)

I have been taking Phentermine 37.5 since November 1st 2007. I had dieted prior to this and lost weight then gained a few, tried to do Weight Watchers and wound up gaining everything back +10 so my starting weight was 232. It was my first time taking a prescription medication. I do not buy off the internet so don’t ask me how that works. I visit my doctor regularly, I go in for my blood pressure checks and weigh ins as planned.

My first month on Phentermine was amazing, I was shocked at how quickly I lost weight. I was reminded over and over that I probably lost a lot of water weight but a loss is a loss to me, the numbers on the scale were much nicer. I had horrible dry mouth which encouraged me to drink more water and stay hydrated. I wasn’t hungry until early afternoon, my cravings for sweets and junk food diminished and I started to crave healthier foods. Also restaurants and fast food lost their appeal, I haven’t had McDonald’s in nearly a year! Hooray!!!
My second month I was doing well and quite proud as I had managed to make it through Thanksgiving and bypass sweets during the Christmas holiday. However as Christmas approached I started to plateu. My doctor saw nothing wrong and just said to bump up my excersize and keep tabs on the foods I ate. At this point I was so busy that there was just NO time to excersize unless I did it in my sleep and I was already eating very well.

I saw very little loss in January, then no loss in February, March, April and May. I was BEYOND frustrated. I was furious that my doctor kept me on Phentermine knowing I hadn’t had a loss in months. I went in search of help in Phentermine forums and had discovered that many people had been on Phentermine 2 months on and 1 month off and then repeated the process again and they continued to lose weight.

I brought this idea up at my next appointment, my doctor was hesitant to allow me to keep up with Phentermine but I was determined to get my way, after all she had me on it when I wasn’t losing and I felt I had the key to keep up the loss. I had stopped taking Phentermine orior to my appointment as it was no longer doing anything or helping me, my doctor was surprised that I had made this choice on my own but never said it was a bad move. She urged me to try Alli however I’ve heard too many bad things not to mention I can not afford $60 a month and my insurance covered Phentermine. So she gave me 1 refill and said to make an appointment a month after I had started back up on Phentermine.
6 weeks later I was back in to see my doctor and her eyes bulged out when she saw that I had lost more than 10 pounds since being back on the med.
I’m on my 2 months on 1 month off plan and continue to see a loss.
I no longer experience dry mouth, at least not as bad as the beggining. I still stay away from fast food and other naughty temptations and I have more desire to stay active and eat well.
My weight as of today is 200 even. I’ve lost 32 pounds total in the past 9 months, 3 of which the Phentermine was actually working. I don’t think that’s too shabby considering I’d rather have it take a bit longer and keep it off than have it fly back on the next day.
Overall I really like Phentermine.
I have some advice which is… If you’re going to weigh in do it first thing in the morning before eating/drinking anything, your weight fluctuates throughout the day reguardless of if it’s just water or food your consuming.
I have found that if I wait until I am hungry to take the med with water that after awhile I am no longer hungry. It is still wise to eat in the morning, keep it simple, fruit, yogurt, veggies, granola, almonds, whole wheat toast etc. You need fuel for the day and keep in mind you will not be on Phentermine forever and should keep your meal/snack routine so once off Phentermine your body is use to eating breakfast and fueling up. Soda is an ulgy habit diet or regular both are bad for you it’s best to avoid them as much as possible. Remember most contain some amount of sodium and cause your body to retain water making for a not so fun weigh in.
Do as much excersize as you can!!!! If you’re not physically able just do what you can!! I have found that other tools used in conjunction with the med are very effective such as Nintendo DS’s My Weight Loss Coach. Think of just walking, get a pedometer find a place on you where it is as accurate as possible (I find that the cleavage part of my bra works best, it’s hidden and is 99.9% accurate almost step for step). I have been competing against my previous days steps and try to beat what I walked the day before. Park your car a bit further away at the store to get some extra movement! Whatever it takes!! :)

Phentermine can be a great weight loss aid…stress the word AID. You need to learn healthy habits to keep the weight off and stay healthy. My doctor has me seeing a nurtitionalist as well as a trainer so I can learn these habits. Phentermine was prescribed to kick start my journey. So far, it has given me the discipline I need to make good choices.

If you are taking tablets and are feeling side effects at the beginning, try only taking half a pill a day until you get used to it. We all have different levels of tolerance. At the beginning, I took half in the morning and half at noon. I also check my blood pressure once a week.

Trust me…the jitters and cotton mouth will go away with time.

Brittany Jan 26th, 2009

I am on my second day of taking Phentermine 37.5 and have already lost 7 pounds. The pill completely suppressed my appetite. My stomach is usually growling by 7:45 in the morning, but it didn’t. About 10am, it felt like my stomach tried to tell me it was hungry, but didn’t fully growl. That lasted for about two minutes. I didn’t eat until 3pm, which was my only meal for the day. I walked/ran a mile and did some crunches and push ups last night. Today, I didn’t do the mile, but I did do my crunches and push ups. Some people probably like to weigh themselves weekly, but my doctor has requested that I keep a journal of my daily weight loss so that he can examine whether I will need an immediate refill next month. I started out at 193 pounds. I weigh myself every morning AFTER i have used the restroom with no clothes on so that I can get an accurate pound count. I seem to be losing 3.5 pounds per day. Phentermine gives me the motivation to exercise and not overeat. I suggest this product to people who need that boost to weight lost. Good luck!!!

So…First off!

To the person who took the pill, drank all of the water and soda and then weighed herself when she got home, water adds on weight to the body and can make it appear that you have actually gained weight when you have not, NEVER weigh yourself at night because all of the water on your stomach will be weighed as well and if you happen to be bloated that day, it will also appear on the scale and not give an accurate reading…Weigh yourself once a week in the morning before you eat for true results.

Second, to the person who said that Phentermine is a miracle drug where a person doesnt have to eat well and excersize to gain results, most would say this is not accurate but I wouldnt, I am disabled so daily excersize if often (but not always) impossible for me, I walk when I can and ride my stationary bike but again this is rare because I am so tired/sick most of the time, I eat healthy 6 days a week anyways but the pill suppresses my appetite to the point where I eat when I feel hungry, I dont eat very much and I am not craving sweets and snacks as I used to be.

The pill causes the most horrible cotton mouth though and I already have congestion problems-Getting a lot of phlegm in my throat and panic attacks when I cant swallow so someone suggested cutting the pill in half and I am going to try that today and see if it works.

I started Phentermine on July 7th and I weighed 200 lbs, I now weigh 184, I still have my one cheat day a week where I eat whatever I want but I dont eat as much, I end up having a lot of leftovers and food lasts a long time in my apt these days, I am more worried now about how I am going to maintain the weight when I reach my Goal of 150 and what I am going to wear when I start really getting low as I dont have any clothes other than the big ugly crap ;o)

I thought the BEAUTY of Phentermine is that you don’t have to have a special diet or exercise program (though this would naturally only ADD to more effective weight loss), but that the Phentermine would simply MAKE YOUR APPETITE DISAPPEAR so that weight loss would be inevitable whether you chose to go on a diet of your own or exercise on your own OR NOT — either way, even if you did NOTHING on your own, you’d STILL lose weight because you’d be eating less due to having NO APPETITE. So, I am wrong about this, right?

Patricia Dec 18th, 2008

I have been taking phentermine for three weeks today. I am 5ft 4in. and my starting weight was 186.4 and now 3wks later I am at 172.00. Therefore, I have lost 14.4lbs total. (5lbs week one, 5lbs week two and 4.4lbs week three). I also lost a total of one inch on my arm, 2.5 inches on my waist and same on my hips.

For those who say they are not experiencing good results then I think you gotta be doing something wrong. Keep in mind that yes the pills are made to assist you in not being so hungry but it’s also about what you eat when you do eat.

Here is what I do: I take the pill at 5:30 am, then have breakfast at 6am which is 1/2c of oatmeal and I have black coffee with equal with that. For a snack about 9am I will have a serving of whole, no salted almonds (blue diamond brand). Then I have lunch at 12pm which is either a salad with very light dressing or like broccoli and chicken. For my next snack at 2pm I have a serving of Dannon Light N Fit Strawberry yogurt. Then I make dinner at about 4:30 ish and its always a serving or two of vegetables and chicken or fish.

**I do allow myself 1 meal a week in a restaurant, but I make sure that I automatically ask for a to go box and box up half my food. And If we end up going to a fast food place and I feel I want a burger and fries then I get a kids meal.

I also walk around my neighborhood 2-3x’s a week and I do strength training excercises 3x’s a week.

So for someone who is just looking for the pill that you take and do nothing then this may not be for you. If you are serious about changing your life then this is for you, along with diet and excercise.

I was told Phentermine would work immediately. I’ve been taking it almost an entire week with NOTHING happening. I’m hungrier than ever before and have NO apparent side effects (like insomnia). All I gotten from it is a dry mouth. It was a waste of my money. I went to my family doctor and he prescribed it. I got it filled at CVS Pharmacy, mfr. Qualitest, white-blue speckled, oblong tablet with V on the front and 50 30 on the back. I am sorely disappointed because I thought Phentermine was the best and I desperately need to curb my appetite and lose weight.

My dr prescribed phentermine about 8 days ago, I’ve lost 10lbs in 8days!! which I think is great he gave me a 1,200 calorie diet which i try to follow as close as i can, I thank god I have not had the side effect people have like the jitters, imsomnia or anything the first day I took them I felt a little bit jittery and cloudy but I was very alert It gave me incredible energy and it controled my appetite, I quit eating junk and drinking soda over a year ago so it wasnt a problem for me to control what i eat, now what I have noticed is that when I eat more than what im supposed to I will feel nauseous so no as soon as I start to feel full I stop eating bc it will make me sick for like an hour if I dont. It gives me alot of energy and by the time it wears off like at 9pm its time for bed and Im exhausted. I recomend it!

First of all, it’s not a good idea to base your decision on phentermine from reviews alone, because drugs interact with people in different ways. Also, please wait at least 4-6 weeks to post a review, you can not make a reliable judgment after only 2 or 3 days of using phentermine.

I have used phentermine for all of 6 months, 5 times a week only on weekdays. I do not need it on the weekends because I am active and it gives a few days for the phentermine to flush. However, during the work week.. I sit on a computer for 9 hours, with a break room full of nothing but free junk food and soda. Let me tell you, will power is extremely hard to manage if you have that in your face and a growling stomach while you are inactive.

For the first few days, yes I experienced a bit of insomnia, some jittering and nausea.. but that went away before the week was over. I take the pill (37.5) as soon as I wake up, and eat at least an hour later. You WILL be hungry in the morning for that first hour, at least till you’ve been taking it a couple of weeks. Try your best to get through the first hour, after that, you’re good to go. EAT LESS, but make sure you EAT ENOUGH to satisfy your body. Your body will go into starvation mode and metabolize less if you do not get enough nutrients.. you may not feel hungry, but that does not mean your body is not starving!

In the first four months, I excercized 4 times a week.. monday (upper body), tuesday (lower body), thursday (upper body), friday (lower body). 30 minutes should be enough, but it doesn’t hurt to do more. I ate within an hour after excersizing each time. I went from 354 lbs to 236lbs in those 4 months. Waist from 52″ to 36″. I was borderline diabetic, with high blood pressure, and after 6 months, my physician told me that I has no problems whatsoever and was surprised at how fast I had turned my health around. Don’t get me wrong, I was still overweight, but my goal wasn’t my body, it was my health.. and phentermine helped me achieve my goal.

5 out of 5

Not sure what to think about Phentermine at this time. That way I gave it a 4 rating, just because I am confused doesn’t mean I need to mess up it’s overall rating. This Monday will be my 3rd week and I only lost 4 pounds. However, I know I can improve my eating habits and increase my exercise, but honestly I am tried at the end of day. Currently, I have a low active Thyroid and not sure if my lack of energy is coming from my Thyroid condition or Phentermine. Give me a couple of weeks and I will get back with you. But to really sum this up after reading the other comments maybe I need to really work on my diet with hopes of seeing better results.

I just started taking phentermine today and I have so much energy…I have been exercising everyday for the last 2 months ( I walk my dog appx 2 miles per day) but I could not give up the bad eating habits. The pills really help me with cravings and appetite. The only question I have is: what are you supposed to eat while taking this pill? I have read the reviews and I see that people are saying not to skip meals. I work in a restaurant and I normally only eat one meal per day and snack on junk the rest of the day. (not real healthy..) Can someone give me some examples of good things to eat for meals? I just do not feel hungry AT ALL.

This is my 2nd day on phentermine and the most side effects that I have experienced is dry mouth and a buzz. On my 2nd day I notice that I was very hungry about 6p.m.(but I hope that it is due to the fact that I had only eaten 500 calories prior to that time). My doctor told me to take it once a day(37.5mg). I have been working out now for about 9 mths. and only had little results. So I’m asking everyone to pray that I lose this weight and keep it off. If anyone have any suggestions on eating please write. I will be writing in a week to let everyone know the results. Thanks

Hey everyone…
I’ve been on for almost 2 weeks and lost almost 10lbs. I have had the dry mouth which was ridiculous the first week. I eat 6 hand full foods thruout the day, cut the soda and am drinking all day long. My CONCERN is that I have had my period for over a week. Or at least spotting. It’s usually at the same time of day. I had some back pain.. is this a kidney thing? I was planning to reduce to half a pill, and/or skip it to see its the pill. ANYONE had this?

I have been on Phentermine for about a month. I dont know what i’m doing wrong but I have only lost about 4 lbs. I take my pill as soon as I wake up, then about an hour later I eat. Sometimes i feel jittery and some nights I cant sleep. Is this the best pill to take or is there another one?

I satrted phentermine 37.5 ,10 weeks ago.

I excercise 5 or 6 days a week (15-18 miles a week) just fast walking,
and I had lost 26 lbs.
this pill is the best, but it’s temporary just to create better eating and excercise habits.

I started taking Phentermine March 3, 2008 and the weight that I started with was 234. This has done wonders for me!! Not only have I lost the weight, it has given me confidence and boosted my self-esteem tremendously. Right now I have lost 24 lbs and I am weighing in at 210lbs!!! This is 6 weeks using this medicine. I have enjoyed this medicine….but I guess everyone has different opinion. I will update you at a later date. Any questions for me, feel free to ask.

Ive been taking this drug since 4/8/08. The first few days I lost 10 pounds. It has only been 7 days. I started working out on March 5, 2008 after having a baby. I was weighing 208. After a month of dieting and exercise 3-4 times a week, I had lost 8 pounds. So what I was doing was working, but Ive gotta get down before June. Therefore, I decided to try this Phentermine pill. My scale hasn’t moved much since the first 10 pounds but Im hoping to get on the scale next Monday with a weight loss of at least 3-5 more pounds. Today, Ive been feeling hungrier than ever, I’m thinking maybe my body has gotten used to the drug. We’ll c!!!

Come on people PLEASE when you’re giving Phentermine a good review, don’t rate it 1 out of 5 stars!!!!!!!! This is freakin annoying because i can’t edit it for you once you’ve submitted your review.

BTW to Apple, have you not noticed that most people on this page are doing well with the Phentermine? Not everyone responded to the pill like you did, so they don’t need to give up….. Have you considered that most of the people here have already tried to eat right and exercise on their own, and turned to diet pills because they didn’t have the will power or energy to follow through?

This is my third day on Phentermine, it is a very good appetite supressant. The only thing that I feel might be missing is the energy. I don’t get the jitters or shakes or anything like that. I am currently taking 37.5 once a day. But maybe its just me.

Hi everyone!! This is my second day on half tablet of 37.5 I got mine straight from my dr. and he wants me to get a little used to it before i take a full tablet. Half has been working great for me. In a couple days i switch to a whole pill.
I am a little concerned though. I have gone through and read all your comments. ALOT of you are using this as a fix to all. Once your off the pill it no longer works. There is a chance you will your gain weight back. And then some. I know your saying, “well what about you!” My story? Not only am i am taking Phen, but also a anti-depressant and going to OA. i am fixing whats inside me. Why did i get this way and why did I eat so much I gained all that weight. And continued to hate myself in the mirror, but still ate. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great pill! Just remember its a temporary fix. i have been living in a cloud for a long time. OA has saved my life. Find someone that can help you.

I been taking Phentermine 37.5 for almost 2wks in my first week I lost 8lbs. Of course I experienced all the side effects of dry mouth, the jittery’s and i was even confussed!! The pill did curve my appetite heavely and I did and still do exercise as tolerated!! Now I dont see the pill to be still working for me….I still take it at the same time, exercise and eat healthy but almost 3 hours after taking it I feel hungry. And unlike the first week I havent lost anymore weight!! Right now Im kind of confussed should I continue with the pill or not

I have been taking this medication for about three weeks now. Initially my physician prescribed one tablet daily. Like everyone else, I experienced the dry mouth, became jittery, had trouble sleeping, etc. I now only take one half pill every other day and this has resolved all the symptoms. Water is very important element and vitamin supplement if your physician concurs. I plan to continue till I am at a size 10 and my eating and exercise routine is in place then slowing wean down.
Good luck everyone.

so it’s definitely keeping down my appetite. I’m mainly eating very healthy and continuing to exercise. I started 6 days ago. I have a problem though, I’ve been tracking my basal body temp for the last 6 months and I always ovulate on day 19, which would have been monday, but I haven’t yet so it’s at LEAST a day late. yesterday, the day after I was supposed to Ov, I started getting and am still having a very sharp pain 3 inches below my belly button to the left (maybe where my left ovary is). Anyone else have this problem? my back’s been aching since the 3rd day on the pills too.

Please help. I have been trying to find a doctor to prescribe phentermine for me in Northern Ohio will no luck. My primary care doctor refuses, even though I am obese and fit the criteria for the drug. I anyone knows of a doctor in Ohio I can go to please let me know. After reading so many postive reviews on a variety of sites, I really want to try it. I workout 4-5 days a week an hour or more for months now and I have not lost even a pound. I am really getting depressed about it.

I started the Phentermine diet pill on 03/06/2008 and in 1 week I lost 7 pounds. i was extremely excited worked out everyday, drank alot of water took care of my self. On the 8th day i woke up with a rash on my face also caused constipation, dry mouth, headache and very anxious. i have used many diet pills and have not had so many side effects, but also i have not lost so much weight in such little time. I think i can try to loose weight by myself, it is not worth suffering through all these symptoms again. I GUESS ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE!!!!!

I WISH EVERYONE LUCK ON THE PROCESS OF CHANGE.

i’ve been on phentermine 37.5 for 6 days. even tho im loving the appetite suppressing effects is has, im hating the side effects im feeling: jittery & nervous in the morning, then around noon my face gets red n’ itchy a little bit, then late afternoon i get so relaxed that i hardly have any energy. its like my moods are all outta wack. i even felt slightly dizzy today. im not skipping meals, i drink plenty of water & im working out regularly. so i’ve decided to take just half a pill starting tomorrow like i did for the first 2 days. hopefully that will curb the side effects. i’ll keep ya posted.

I have used phentermine off and on for about 4 years.. I have experienced all the side effects but I am completelys satisfied w/ the results that using the pill has. Just remember that every body is different and that you should montior your body and eating habits before either increasing or decreasing the dosage, and be sure to check with your doctor as well. Fluid intake as stated by others is essential. I found that when I developed a routine and stuck to it, it worked best.. I try not to take the pill after 10 am for the sleeplessness and before I come completely off I start taking it every other day, but stick to my eating a workout program, and then gradually reduce the dosage, so basically, i do every other day for two weeks then half the dosage for two weeks, that seems to help me the itching and nervousness seems to subcide after a while and the dry comes and goes.. But all in all I personally think its one of the best pills around to help weight loss.

Thanks and Good Luck… Cece

Thanks for the advice Teresa, i will try to drink more water throughout the day. My weight loss has dropped to about 2lbs a week loss now, at first I was disheartened but the nurse told me that this is good as its best to lose the weight ata steady pace. Anyway the doc has increased my tablets as I said im not getting much on an effect anymore, he said that some people need to change the amount in theyre system at different times on the plan, so i now take a 37.2mg anda 15mg every morning starting from today, so ill let you know how i get on. My advice for Renee is to try and cut out all the carbs in your diet and drink more water, as Teresa said in an earlier reply it does make a lot of difference, another thing i thought of is you may need to up the dosage of your medication, different people need different amounts of phentermine for it to have an effect on your body, another possible reason is that you say your working out for up to an hr every day, well you probably are losing the fat, but gaining muscle, which is actually heavier than fat! so try to judge your weight by your clothes. I have actually put weight on before when working out at the gym, but went down 2 dress sizes, as I lost the fat but gained muscle. Ask your doc to check on the dosage of your phentermine if your concerned, Good Luck!! x

I’ve been on the product for 3 weeks, and I only lost 5 lbs. I don’t understand why I haven’t lost more. I workout for 45-60 minutes, six days a week. My calorie intake is 1000-1200 per day. I’m trying not to get discourage. For those who are losing 5 lbs per week, please tell me what you normally eat daily.

Shauna H Aug 27th, 2008

I have been on Phentermine 37.5mg since early November 2007. I have lost 25lbs total(which seems low but I’m thrilled with). I have at least 75lbs to go but about 25 of those are vanity pounds. :)

I also experienced the dry mouth and jitters and a massive amount of energy, the jitters and dry mouth subsided as did the occasional morning headaches.
My weight loss has slowed down as I expected. I’m not bothered by that as the slower you lose the slower you are to gain it back.

My best advice to anyone looking to start this is to push fluids(that’s an issue for me at the momemt) and do not skip breakfast!!! You may not be hungry but eat something. After you go off the med your body need to still have all the daily consistancies such as fueling your body for the day. Also make sure if you’re suppose to be taking a multivitamin that you remember to take it!!! I often find that I don’t always eat perfectly or enough to substain proper nutrition and have suffered some tolerable side effects such as hair loss due to vitamin deficiency, I was not advised to take any vitamins nor did I know what to take until the begging of my 4th month on Phentermine when I finally linked the hair loss to possible vitamin deficiency. Also remember to follow proper doctors orders when taking any other medications, every body is different and will act differently!!! Don’t risk your health!!! Remember there are side effects!! My most recent after all this time is itchy hives which strike me in the pm even though the med is taken in the am. I manage fine If you have questions or concerns don’t hesitate to ask your physician!!

I am concerened with the addiction factor as I’ve been on it for quite some time, I find that because I’m so determined to lose weight and because I’m on more of a normal schedule with the med that if I should miss it I notice and it nags at me all day long. I’m not sure if that’s the addicted part or if it’s just the mental hang up I’ve deveoloped since it’s now part of my daily routine.

I just started Phentermine 37.5 last week and the side affects that I experience is that I feel high alot. But it really suppress my appetite. When I don’t eat I feel like I will fall out. Mainly during lunch and diner, I have to eat… I was afraid at first and still is becuase I have heard about other products and what they have done to people so, I do worry when I take it in the morning. Lately, I have been really tired and oversleeping in the mornings and I hope that it will subside. I am not sure why because I go to bed at night around 10.. I have not started an working out yet but it will start in a week. I hope that this is a safe product to take… Thanks for the information that everyone have posted I fill a little better now that I have read them.

I started teh Phentermine 37.5 mg tablets two weeks ago today. Before he would prescribe it to me, my doctor made me promise two things…1. do NOT skip meals and 2. Do NOT weigh yourself all the time.

i agreed.

So…i have been eating 3 x a day….healthy and WAY SMALLER portions…sometimes i have to FORCE myself to eat…which, if i happen to skip a meal, i feel all woozy and weird.

I HAVE weighed myself once since i started…it was on my 8th day and had lost a decent 6 pounds.

i have SO MUCH more to go, but so far, so good. I would recommend this to anyone who’s doctor says it’s right for them.

As for teh downsides…..there are a few.
for me, i had:
dry mouth REALLY BAD which caused bad breath…the mint, mouthwash, and toothpaste companies are LOVING me right now….

around 2-3pm, i always seem to feel exhausted, but still in that “have to do something” mode. by 9pm i’m drained and sleeping like a baby….the first few days i was taking this, i would wake up several times in the night, but i think my system is used to it now and sleeping is not a problem.

i am eating better and walking on a treadmill EVERYDAY. I’m on a gradual walking plan…starting low, working my way up. The first week, i walked slowly for 5 min, then briskly for 5 min, then cool down slowly walking for 5 more min….i’m adding speed and time to the middle 5 min each week. It’s SO MUCH easier than i used to tell myself!!

I really hope this continues to work for me, as i was debating on lap band or gastric bypass surgery…….grrrr….

Hey everyone I just started Phentermine today. I have been on it once before for two months and I lost about 17 pounds. So of course I didn’t stick to dieting and now I have gain that weigh back. Now It’s a new me I will lose that and plus.

: 1
Teresa Aug 12th, 2008

Traci, you were asking how many pounds do people taking phentermine lose per week, that really all depends on how much water you drink daily. The first week I lost an amazing 14 pounds! It was because I was drinking at least 2 gallons of water throughout the day every single day plus lots of protein food such as turkey and salads. I was very careful not to eat any starchy food such as baked potato, carrots, rice, pasta or any bread. After the first week, my average weight loss weekly became between 4-6 pounds. I also worked out alot at least 5 times weekly for about 2-3 hours daily. I went from 203 lbs to 142 lbs in 3 months. So really, the key to losing weight fast is to drink ALOT of water daily and watch what you eat and workout at least 5 times weekly. If one drinks just 2 glasses of water daily and works out 2 times weekly, then the weight loss will go much, much slower so one has to remember that the more water a person drinks, the thinner you will become over a shorter period of time.

I just started Phentermine 37.5 yesterday. I need to lose a great deal of weight so this is what my dr. prescribed. Yesterday when I took it I ate a small breakfast. I didn’t even think about lunch but I drank some vitamin water and some iced tea. For dinner I didn’t pile on my plate like I normally would and didn’t even finish what I had on my plate to begin with. After dinner my fiance ate cookies (he’s skinny so he can do that) and I wasn’t tempted to eat just 1. I had a lot of energy that I do not normally have so I was able to clean a lot more before bed. I felt like I was going to have a problem sleeping at 1st because I felt my mind racing but fell asleep just minutes later.

Today, I ate oatmeal for breakfast and I am hungry for lunch. I have a ton of energy. So much that the people in my office are noticing that I am much more energetic. I feel a little jittery, but I think that will pass once I eat lunch.

The only side effect I have is dry mouth! But I can handle that!

Good Luck to everyone!!!

Hi Everyone, ive been on new tablets for 1 week now as i was getting really bad headaches on the capsules, but the tablets are 37.5 mg which is stronger than the 30mg i was taking so i dont quite know how that works? My doctor said these tablets are slower releasing thyan the capsules, maybe thats why im not going to bed till 4am, but my advice to Darci is dont start drinking to help you sleep, as the calories your losing from eating less will just be replaced by the calories in the alcohol, and as you drink more on phentermine, you will more than likely drink more alcohol than usual, and you will get drunk really quick on these tablets, so be very careful. I also wanted to ask other users of phentermine how much weight theyre losing a week on average, i have been losing between 5 and 6lb a week, and i havent noticed anyone else losing that much that quick? let me know if you all lost that much in your first few weeks?
good luck to all, its hard work!

I started Phentermine-D 37.5 Friday. I had a nice little buzz going. I had so much energy. I I am having some of the side effects. The most notable…inability to sleep. I’ve read the reviews and am anxious to see how it works. My doc wants me to check in on Wednesday so that she can see how I’m doing. If everything goes well I will be able to continue on this path. I need to loose 55 pounds.

Best of luck to all of us.

Phentermine is a wonderful drug to help one lose all the weight but beware of the repercussion. It helped me lose alot of weight then a year later I gained some weight back all because I did not learn how to change my eating habits or continue with my exercise routine. Phentermine cannot be prescribed for the rest of your life so you must know now to change your eating habits for the better while losing weight and know that you must work out for the rest of your life if you want to maintain your weight without depending on phentermine. It’s been a tough battle for me so take this from me that you must keep working hard if you want to keep the weight off in the long run.

Hi everyone im back again, well ive been on phentermine 30mg for 3 weeks now. Ive lost 16lbs in 3 weeks. Im glad with the weight loss, but i have had some horrible side effects. The first two weeks i couldnt sleep or eat, then this last week ive become really nervous and jittery, and ive had really bad migraines for the last week, so today the doctor changed my capsules for tablets- dont know if it will do anything different but ill keep you informed. Im also really energetic in the day but really lethargic at night. I have also had a few dizzy spells were i have felt a bit faint, but on those days i had forgot to eat breakfast! I just dont think about food constantly anymore, but i do wonder is it really worth all this to be thin? Then i see another gorgeous girl in a lovely dress and think keep going, itll be worth it in the end.

I have been on Phen D 37.5 for about 2 weeks. I hate the side effects jittery, nervousness and can’t sleep. I can tell a big diffrence with my appitite though. I am just hoping the side effects will pass. I like the energy in the morning but kinda crash near the end of the day! I still feel a little hunger but currently not eating much. I did loose 4lbs my 1 st week!

I just ordered Phentramin-D so I pray it will work! I have given up trying to order phentermine as no doctors will prescribe it anymore. Also when I order it online, they never deliver it so I have to cancel the order a month later. The doctors seem so against it now so I wonder why they won’t prescribe it anymore? It is not like I am asking for Fen-Phen which I know has been banned from the market but phentermine is different. Phentermine helped me lose 140 pounds so that is why I hope Phentramin-D will work too! Wish me all the luck!

I have taken the white with specks of blue, 37.5 mg. My appetite was effectively suppressed, but I think I was taking too high a dose for me. I picked at my face, arms, back and legs so much I had to see the dermatologist for scar treatment. I also had to see a therapist to break the “compulsive skin picking” habit. It was awful. I had to wear Dermablend scar makeup for several months, and I never left the house. I guess my message is to be really careful, only take as much as you really need, and only take it for short periods of time. I did lose weight and am now back in my size *4* jeans; however I don’t think it was worth the pain and I wouldn’t do it again.

Phentermine offered the best appetite control for me and I had tried every one of these: Metabolife w/ ephedra (9 years ago), herbal teas of every kind, every kind of Hoodia I could find and Phentramin, which, to be fair, did help some after 4-5 days.

The only medicine that so helped me curb my ravenous refrigerator jaunts that I could control my appetite, was phentermine, for 15 weeks (I think) back in 2006. I had such determination that I vowed that I would not let a food pass my lips that wasn’t healthy until I reached my goal. And THAT was what made phentermine stand out for me. I ate healthy, about 1100 calories a day, and my whole style of buying, shopping, cooking and eating changed.

If I ever need a control-enhancer again, esecially with their new guarantee, I will try Phentramin-D because I no longer fit the >30 BMI for phentermine, but if you do, I highly recommend it!
